Apprenticeship (2 year course) in the Centre of Contemporary Ceramics, Kavala Greece.
I work as a freelance Conservator in Greece from 2004. I started working in Athens and over the years I have collaborated with several conservation laboratories and conservation-related companies. I have worked in major insitu projects including the conservation of the wall paintings in the Academy of Athens and the wall painting of N. Gyzis in Palataki, Chaidari. I have also taken up several collaborations with museums, art galleries and contemporary artists as a Conservator and a Conservation Consultant. I have also worked as a conservator for the Foundation of Thracian Art and Tradition in Xanthi for three years.
In 2011 I was employed by the Technological Educational Institute of the Ionian Islands, located in Zante, as a tutor in the Department of Conservation of Cultural Heritage teaching among other fields the Conservation and Restoration of Ceramics.
I also practiced the art of pottery and ceramics experimenting with several pottery techniques including high temperature, low firing, Raku, naked Raku and Saggar.
In 2018 I founded my own Studio in Drama, working both as a Conservator and a Ceramist.
In June 2023 I’ve opened a retail shop in the historical centre of Preveza town, where I finally moved my studio permanently in 2024.
